Baba Guru Nanak

The first Guru an enlightener of the Sikh religion was Guru Nanak Dev Sahib. He was born in Nankana Sahib, Pakistan. Guru Sahib was the master of Punjabi, Sanskrit and Persian from a young age. It was in his nature to help the misery of poor people. He went many places to put an end to the worldly troubles of the humankind. 
He is known for making the four great journey’s streatching across India into the Arabian and Persian Peninsula, visiting Mecca and Baghdad. He spoke the words of peace to the people of all major religions. He spoke for the people of miniorities and against the caste system. Baba Guru nanak Dev Sahib was an enlightener and messenger for all human beings. 
All his life Baba Guru Nanak Dev Sahib worked spreading the reforms and challenged and questioned the religious systems and founded Sikhism.
